Get Ready for the Launch...

Here we go…our very first blog post!

Firstly thanks so much for reading this. You have either already purchased one of our candles or have come across our website or social media pages.

We launched in November and since then we have been absolutely blown away by the level of support we have received and how our business is rapidly growing.

We want to use this blog post to tell you a little more about who we are, what we have been up to and our plans over the coming months.

We are Louise Bell & Sarah Woods (and it surprisingly took about 3 weeks before we settled on our company name!!!) who both have a passion for home interiors as well as being just a little obsessed with candles. Starting a Candle business was something we'd talked about for a very long time. Having both run our own businesses before we knew we could turn our passion into something a little more unique and Bell & Woods was created.

Being self-taught candle makers, we have perfected the skill of making high quality candles and we both strongly felt there to be a gap in the market for what we now offer.

We know the candle market is already a pretty full one but we wanted to create something more personal to you. With the help of a very good friend, we created a brand with the view for this to appeal to both men and women alike. We now offer a bespoke service where you can choose the vessel style which is unique to your own taste and a choice from a large range of scents which have been personally selected by us which we know you will love.

Our candles are made using the finest, British Standard Approved, Natural Soy Wax and we have spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting and testing not only wax but the fragrances and vessels we use, to offer you lovely looking and beautifully scented candles at reasonable prices.

 After our launch in November we got straight out there selling our candles at Christmas Events across London, Herts and Beds and that’s where we met so many of you. It’s was fantastic. Seeing our vision come to life and our candles being so well received was overwhelming.

We have already expanded our range quite considerably since November and we look forward to continuing with this over the coming months. We are also in the process of creating and testing new product lines, such as Gift Sets and Diffusers...we can’t wait to offer these to you real soon.

We have also been presented with some VERY exciting business opportunities and again we will share more details as soon as we are able.

We'll be creating an Events Page on the website so you can see where we will be and when. That way you can come and sample our range for yourselves.
